Hi, I’m Michelle! My musical journey began at seven years old, and over the years, I have played and studied both classical piano and classical guitar.

Having balanced my musical life alongside a career in the corporate world, music has always been my ultimate grounding passion. Growing up, I went through very traditional, rigid classical training, learning masterworks by Bach and Beethoven. While that strict foundation taught me that a strong understanding of music theory provides essential structure for practical playing, it also showed me what happens when music becomes an exhausting chore. Nearly all of my childhood friends who went through that same rigid path ended up giving up music entirely.

I built Nona Tempo Music Studio to change that. I believe that lessons should be highly engaging, rewarding, and completely tailored to the student. My goal is to give you or your child the rock-solid practical and theoretical skills needed to understand music, while prioritizing the actual joy of playing the music you love and are passionate about. You won't just memorize notes for a checklist—you will build the skills to fuel a true, lifelong passion for playing.
